EPL: Paul Merson ignores Guardiola, names top three Premier League managers

Former Arsenal star, Paul Merson has listed his top three managers in Premier League history in a recent Q&A session with fans on X and has failed to include Man City boss Pep Guardiola on his list.
Merson named ‘Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, and Arsene Wenger’ as his top three, citing their impressive records in the league.
Ferguson, who managed Manchester United for 27 years, won an astonishing 13 Premier League titles along with numerous other trophies.

Mourinho, known for his defensive style of play, led Chelsea to one of the best-ever defensive seasons in the league in 2004-05, conceding only 15 goals on their way to the title.
Wenger, who managed Arsenal for 22 seasons, won three Premier League titles and secured a remarkable 1.95 points per game in 1234 games at the club.
Despite Guardiola’s success at Manchester City, he did not make Merson’s list while the likes of Jurgen Klopp and Carlo Ancelotti were also snubbed.
